The Clearwater Yacht Club is your very special place on the water. Meet with family and friends, or make new friends while enjoying the best of Florida’s outdoor lifestyle. The club offers a myriad of activities and features for members to enjoy.

Your calendar will get booked with social events all year round that range from formal affairs,such as the Commodore’s Ball and The Change of Watch, to casual events like Friday nights with live musical entertainment, Jazz Night, Trivia Night and the Parrot Head Party. Additionally, the Clearwater Yacht Club will be celebrating its Centennial Year in 2011, and it promises to be full of many special activities and celebrations…100 or more!
You can participate in numerous activities, including the women’s sailing club and social clubs, access to sailboats to learn to sail or simply to enjoy, sunset sails, Sunday brunch, race committee, club cruises, fashion shows, luncheons and water aerobics in our heated pool. Of course, you can just relax at our heated pool and socialize with friends. Clearwater Yacht Club is centered around the boating lifestyle with a marina that provides easy access to the Gulf of Mexico, as well as amenities including electricity, cable TV and internet access. CYC’s members include racing sailors, those seeking the enjoyment of a day on the local waters and a cruising club that visits many ports of call.
Clearwater Yacht Club offers Regular Voting Membership, Social Membership, Seasonal Membership and Summer Membership.
Regular Voting Members have full use of everything the club offers, including a slip for your boat! Participation in all boating and social activities will fill your calendar throughout the year. CYC enjoys reciprocal privileges with many national and international clubs, including the prestigious Florida Council of Yacht Clubs (FCYC). The marina provides electricity, cable tv and high-speed Internet access. Regular voting members are eligible for a slip (subject to availability) and can apply once they are approved as members. There is currently a waiting list for slips. If you’re not on the high seas, you can enjoy spectacular dining, relax by the pool or take advantage of the many other activities the club has to offer. As a full member, you can join one of the numerous activity committees and enjoy full voting rights.
Social Members enjoy many of the same amenities as Regular Voting members, except they are not eligible for a permanent slip at the marina, are not eligible for reciprocity at other Florida Council of Yacht Clubs, do not have voting rights and cannot hold office. Social members enjoy the full use of the club and dining facilities. Participate with boating members for regattas and help out with Race Committee. Join the fun with members at poolside or step out with new friends over dinner and dancing at the numerous club events.
Seasonal Membership Choose up to 7 consecutive months between October 1st to April 30th with full use of the club’s facilities. Privileges are the same as those of social members. You can convert your seasonal membership to either a Regular or Social membership within 60 days of membership termination. Seasonal members do not have reciprocal rights with other clubs and cannot vote or serve on committees.
